KUALA LUMPUR: Datasonic Group Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary Datasonic Technologies Sdn Bhd (DTSB) has received an additional RM31.39mil contract from the Home Affairs Ministry for the supply of the Malaysian passport chip.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the smart card and machine-readable passport maker said the original contract value was RM318.75mil and the additional contract value was RM31.39mil, making the total contract ceiling value to RM350.14mil.

The changes in the new contract involve the maintenance services of equipment, software and system application for public key infrastructure and public key development for 2022 and 2023.
